Microsoft Monthview Control 6 0 Excel 2010 Missing
Hi I'm trying to put a clickable calendar on a worksheet, have followed numerous threads but my main issue is that I am missing Microsoft MonthView Control. I would recommend not to use monthview control. You may use this alternative. If you still want to use the monthview control then see this. The MonthView1 controls return a string value which can be accessed by MonthView1.Value. And once you have the string value, you can convert that to a date value by using CDate For example. Hey guys - I am trying to add a calendar to my excel template but I am missing the MonthView Control from the list of available controls. I am using Excel 2013, with Visual Basic for Applications 7.1 and Windows 7 64 bit.

I am trying to add a calendar picker to Excel 2010. Everything I read online says that it is possible, you just need to use the ActiveX control 'Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0', and that it should be listed under Developer Tab -> Insert -> More Controls ->... But it's not listed.
I also tried downloading the Microsoft Windows Common Controls-2 6.0, but when I tried to add it to Excel using 'Register Custom...', it says 'Cannot register this control'.
Why this control is missing? and I can't add it?
