Vst Au And Rewire Support Add On Studio One

  1. In Studio One, it is extremely easy to add a Rewire device. Available Rewire slaves are listed along with the instrument plugins in the browse panel. Rewire slaves behave very much like an instrument plugin. Add a Rewire device to the project in the normal way (click &.
  2. VST and AU and Rewire Support is an add-on for Studio One Artist (Versions 3 and 4). This expansion adds VST2, VST3, and AudioUnits support to Studio One Artist and runs any compatible plug-ins or virtual instruments! Also adds Rewire support for live integration with other software.

Hello, can I add custom VST plugins to Studio one 3 prime? I know you cant in the free versions of 1 and 2. This is also a deal breaker for me. Thanks.

Sorry, you can't add VST functionality to Prime. You would need Artist ($99.95 as of 8/2/15), and an add on, which is $79.99....seen on this page at the top:

Atari 5200, 64K RAM S1PRO Radio Shack Cassette Recorder w/internal Mic, and too many plugins.

Assuming you're on very tight budget and you don't mind waiting a bit longer one little hint: license for S1 Artist can be obtained cheaply from second-hand market (I saw it as low as $10) or you can get one when you purchase Presonus hardware. I'm pretty sure that add-on will be also on promotion one day (Black Friday perhaps?).

1. Artist doesn't support 3rd-party VST plugins.
2. You can purchase VST/AU/Rewire support for Artist.

Maybe its just the mood that I am in today, but what 'deal' is broken? The exchange of no money for a product? That deal?

I saw an AD or review somewhere, and I can't find it now, that was apparently a misprint, where it said or suggested that some of the add-ons worked with Prime.
I now chalk that up to being early information that was just incorrect. I think it was a vendor site or training site like S1E or something.

I won't unfairly say it was them, don't recall tbh. I do remember seeing it somewhere and thinking... 'Ok, that's a surprise.'
Not unusual though as multiple websites try to be the first to get news out. Wherever it was has probably been edited later since I can't find it.
